Save Our Estate Agents

Asda are planning on moving into the estate agency business.

Peter Bolton-King, chief executive of the National Association of Estate Agents, said he doubted whether Asda could offer a professional estate agency service.

A professional estate agency service? Hmmm.

Nick Goulding of the Forum of Private Business said: "Do they really expect to replace the service and expertise that your local estate agent supplies?"

Expertise like this?

Tee hee, pity it's Asda tho and not one of the British owned supermarkets. Maybe the rest will follow.

It's amusing how 'small businessmen' such as estate agents try to pass themselves off as the good guys battling against the naughty corporations.

Half the Tory MPs (approx) used to be estate agents - see Recess Monkey re the lovely George Osborne.......

Indeed, Hughes views. Arrogant and public school educated though...you wouldn't expect Tories to find a niche in estate agency would you??

I look forward to the mass pickets outside Foxtons..
